I’m Diesle A.K.A D Power, one of the main creators of Grime music. Formerly a DJ, I now MC and produce Grime music. I also co-run one of the biggest underground radio stations which has been at the heart of Grime for over 10 years, Deja Vu FM.

I started my career as a DJ playing Jungle with Dlux, Maxwell D, Riko, Wiley and Geeneus, then went on to play Garage with Godsgift as my MC. In 2001 I started a crew called East Connection which was one of the foundation Grime collectives. East Connection, Roll Deep, Ruff Squad, Meridian (now known as Boy Better Know), N.A.S.T.Y Crew and Essentials were all crews who I brought to Deja Vu FM plus a lot more. This was the start of Grime music as we know it.

In 2008 I started writing bars and became an MC. I am the biggest Grime DJ to make the switch to an MC and have been fully booked for all major Grime events. I am also the founder of Young Man Standing & Mix & Blend, which are two very successful and major Grime events in London. To date I have produced tracks for well known and established artists including Wiley, Fumin, Doctor, Shizzle, and many more. Welcome to my world.
